My journey
I have been walking the path of healer and seer for many years. From childhood, I was able to connect with a deep intuitive feeling of simply knowing things. I couldn’t explain it or fully understand it back then, but this inner knowing has always been with me — it has sat at the very core of my being throughout my life. I can now access it as rememberance from past lives and the skills I carried back then…
I believe that everybody carries medicine within them. I am a carrier of many medicine streams. The first to reveal itself in this life came when I was 19, when I was drawn to study an ancient yogic lineage and became a yoga teacher. My heartfelt wish was that everyone could feel as good as I did after class! I’ve been teaching yoga ever since — and I still love sharing this ancient practice to this day.
I travelled extensively, especially in my younger years, before spending a chapter of my life in the corporate world.
With ancestral and soul memory of working with plants, one of my deepest gifts is intuitive seeing. Whether I’m working one-to-one or sitting in ceremony, I seek to empower each person to listen inwardly, to trust, to deepen, and to follow their own inner guidance.
Having grounded myself through body based practices and movement from a traditional Indian yogic lineage, my being naturally began to attune to the body of the earth and the plant world. I come from a maternal line deeply rooted in nature — my grandparents were horticulturists and I grew up with plant wisdom woven into my bones.
On this journey of remembrance, I journeyed to both Central and South America, guided by a wish to better understand the indigenous relationship to the plant world. I was blessed to be able to intensively study divine Amazonian shamanism, where connection to spirit and self flows through the plants themselves.
I carry an ancient lineage from the Amazon Rainforest and have been initiated as an Amazonian Tabaquera, rooted in a long and powerful line held by the Kichwa Tribe of the Ecuadorian Rainforest. I have trained extensively with my two beloved teachers, Kurikindi and Sisa, and I continue to return annually to deepen my learning and connection.
I have learned the art of ceremony, cleansing, and healing through sacred songs (takis) and prayers. These prayers are spoken and sung in both the native Kichwa tongue and in English. My cleanses involve sacred rainforest plants in the form of smoke, ritual baths, leaf rattles, and — when called for — hands-on touch. More recently I have been called to use my native Scottish plants too.
My intention is to bridge the wisdom and healing of the rainforest medicines with my own indigenous root culture. I am deeply grounded in the magical Highland landscape, and I honour the spiritual and ancestral lineages of all those I am blessed to serve.
I hold sacred the streams I carry, and I offer them always with humility, love, respect, and compassion.
One of the gifts I bring is the ability to sound notes of truth through my clear voice, offering mirror-like clarity. With my deep connection to both the Amazon Rainforest and the sacred Celtic land I inhabit, I weave and facilitate secure, grounded energetic and physical spaces that support true healing and transformation.
It is with my teachers’ full blessing that I now share this wisdom with the world — I look forward to connecting with YOU!
